Warranty Policy

LIMITED MANUFACTURER WARRANTY

1. Warranty Coverage

Perdomo Distributor (“Company”) provides a Limited Manufacturer Warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and proper maintenance. This warranty applies only to eligible products that strictly comply with the installation, registration, and usage requirements outlined in this policy.

The warranty period begins only after warranty registration has been successfully completed, confirmed via email, and a registration number has been assigned to the customer. If registration is not completed and confirmed, no warranty coverage will apply.

If a covered component fails due to a manufacturing defect during the applicable warranty period, the Company will, at its sole discretion, provide a new or remanufactured replacement part or compressor component at no charge for the part itself. This Limited Manufacturer Warranty is subject to all terms, conditions, limitations, and exclusions stated herein.

2. Eligible Products and Warranty Term

This Limited Manufacturer Warranty applies only to inverter units of the following brands:

  • Prime
  • PG
  • AUX
  • TGM

Warranty Coverage Periods:

  • Parts: Two (2) years
  • Compressor: Five (5) years

Coverage is valid only when the unit is properly installed and registered in accordance with this policy.

3. Installation and Registration Requirements

To qualify for warranty coverage, all of the following conditions must be met:

  • The unit must be installed and registered by a licensed or certified HVAC technician, including EPA certification where applicable
  • Installation must comply with all applicable local and state codes, permits, manufacturer installation instructions, and accepted industry best practices
  • Warranty registration must be completed within ten (10) days of installation
  • Warranty coverage becomes effective only after registration is confirmed via email and a registration number is issued

Failure to meet any installation or registration requirement will result in the warranty being void.

4. Residential Use Requirement

This warranty applies only to units installed in residential properties and occupied by the original purchaser, unless otherwise authorized in writing by the Company.

5. Warranty Claim Procedure

If a covered issue occurs during the warranty period, the customer must engage a licensed local HVAC technician to diagnose the system.

To initiate a warranty claim, the customer must first submit a warranty claim request. Once the claim is reviewed, the customer must follow all instructions provided by the Company’s support team, including shipping procedures.

Required documentation includes:

  • A copy of the diagnostic report identifying the defective part or compressor
  • A copy of the original purchase receipt
  • A copy of the dated installation invoice from a certified HVAC technician
  • Proof of warranty registration and assigned registration number
  • A copy of the technician’s HVAC license and/or EPA certification, if applicable

Defective parts or units must be shipped to the Company’s facilities for inspection by Company technicians.

The Company will not accept any parts or units returned without prior authorization for warranty purposes.
